When the COVID-19 pandemic just started, the demand for testing was in short supply. The results took a few days to receive, and even delayed for several weeks.
Now, researchers at the University of Florida have collaborated with the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan to create a prototype test that can detect viruses and give results within a second.
