China Red Cross Foundation and Konsung

The fraternity of China Red Cross Foundation entered into campus, Konsung dry chemistry analyzer assists in children’s health examination.

  The growth and development of children has always been the focus of public concern. In recent years, precocious puberty, developmental retardation, malnutrition, obesity and other problems have plagued the healthy growth of teenagers. In addition, according to the “Chinese Residents’ Nutrition and Chronic Disease Report 2020″, the overweight and obesity rate of Chinese teenagers aged 6 to 17 has reached 19%, which not only increases the risk of chronic metabolic diseases such as hypertension, dyslipidemia and growth dysplasia, but also prone to psychological problems such as impaired self-esteem, emotional disorders and decreased social ability. What’s more, Adolescent obesity is more likely to persist into adulthood.

  The problem of children’s growth and development is related to the harmony and happiness of every family. In order to enable children grow up healthily and parents can correctly understand and treat children’s growth and development, on April 28th, the China Red Cross Foundation joint with Peking University First Hospital held a “Fraternity campus, health examination” activity for more than 200 primary school students in the Peking Normal Experimental Primary School at the beginning of the new semester.

  The activity of “Fraternity Campus, Health Physical Examination” provides free campus physical examination for more than 200 primary school students in Peking Normal Experimental Primary School, which mainly includes 12 physical examination items such as height, weight, body fat rate, grip strength, scoliosis, glucose, blood lipids, and uric acid.

  In this physical examination project, staff use Konsung Compass 2000 dry biochemical analyzer to test the glucose and lipid for more than 200 of primary school students in Peking Normal Experimental Primary School. During the processing of the physical examination, the Compass 2000 dry biochemical analyzer was recognized by the staff of the China Red Cross Foundation and Peking University First Hospital on site because it is small, convenient and easy to operate.
