Caution:

◆Make sure that the upper arm is at the heart level of the patient. Otherwise, the measurement result may be inaccurate.

◆Applying the cuff: Wrap the correctly sized cuff evenly and snugly around the upper arm, but there should be enough room for you to slip a fingertip under the cuff. Make sure that the artery mark on the cuff is positioned over the brachial artery, and the bottom edge of the cuff is positioned about 3 cm above the crease of the elbow. Make sure that the index line fall between the two range lines, which indicates that the cuff fits the upper arm properly. Otherwise, change the cuff with an appropriate size.

◆Position the stethoscope: Place the film side of the stethoscope disk on the inner side of the crease of the elbow.

◆Open the value to deflate the cuff completely. The measurement result may be inaccurate if the D-Manometer is powered on with residual pressure in the cuff.

◆Press the Power button to turn on the machine. it will firstly do zero calibration and display ‘888’ on the LCD screen. This process will not complete until the cuff pressure is stable. When this process completes (display of ‘888’ disappears), it is ready to measure.
